A sizzling starter….

Finally we completed the sale of the house, I finished my last walks, crossed the t’s and dotted the i’s at work and came home to a clean empty house for our last supper using up all the left overs in the fridge – this is how I hope to fuel up on our trip – eat local, stay healthy, cook from scratch and waste nothing!

We had one little task to complete before starting our adventure. So Moho parked somewhere safe and George was walked by a relative, then we made the journey under the channel to Belgium to celebrate 30 years of marriage with the family.

Words cannot describe the Happiness we all shared this weekend. Bob and I renewed our Wedding Vows (with a few changes) led by Rio. The whole event was a family affair with input from everyone. From building the altar, finding logs in the woods, preparing the food, setting up the table and most important making the cocktails – even our eldest son Joel turned up all the way from South America!

I told Rio – “Remember no speeches, just like at our wedding.…” So how come each and everyone stood up and spoke? With every speech came tears of emotion, joy and laughter, I don’t think I have ever seen my Bob cry so much.

In essence it was the perfect day…..here are just a few of the photos we took.

A little footnote……..I would like to thank my beautiful daughter Rio for all the effort that she put in for that day – it means so much. Joel for travelling all that way just to be there….Louis who sadly couldn’t make it – your gorgeous Niamh did you proud and good luck with your new album. My darling sister Nicole and her husband Srul for hosting in her house already so full of happy memories, her 3 wonderful precious children Tomi, Ben and Mai and Pippo and Sascha. My brothers Jamie and Tom so glad you made it and Ian. Alice youre a little Walford star and finally the gorgeous Martha, Bear, Nely and Benji who really stole the day!
